A last page of zoo pics and some Jack sketches

A long over-due last page of zoo sketches. I don't know when I'll get to go again, hopefully soon. But there will be more! I promise! And Jack on the bottom...
This is Jack the dog. Everyone keeps saying he looks like a bear. I think he's cute. :) I don't know who the Corgi is though.
These are studies of a portrait I'll be doing of Jack soon.

A cat and a man

Here's a page of (really) rough illustration ideas for a prjoect I'm working on with a friend. (Hi Joel!) They're just ideas, not finished products, so don't panic at their ... bad-ness. The rock. Above it is an idea for a page that will illustrate 'days.'
The man. Hello man.
The man and the Master.

And ... a cat. An electric cat.

More zoo pics

Just a few to keep you coming back. ;)
Porcupines are CUTE. And underneath him is a blue squirrel. Yes, he really was BLUE. See here and here and here. Oh yes. And FAT RODENTS. Delicious.
Cute Caiman, sleepy kinkajou, upside down leopard, and bat-eared fox heads.
I think the red tiger is the best so far.

Pussy willows cattails and roses

A beautiful and melancholy song I found when looking for Jethro Tull's 'Pussy willow' on imeem. Quickly became a favourite.

more zoo pics

I need to keep up with the sketchbook stuff, sorry guys.
Tigers are hard, man. And if you stand on your head, that's a lynx. Fish! And the spotted cat (I forget what it's called) was so cute, until it woke up. They make these sounds like a human can, and it's really freaky. I love that fish. He was so cute and very charming.
Boids! And fat rodents! Delicious!
I was getting bored and hot and tired, so my giraffes are blue and are awfully rendered. :(

Greeting cards and then some

These are some card designs I did last Christmas. I want to set up a site or a blog and sell cards similar to these. So tell your friends! I take requests at this point and there is no really set price so it's more of a work it out case by case sort of thing.
I put pressed flowers on the original... Maybe not the greatest of ideas. Oh well. And here is a picture of me. Don't I look happy? :D And I want a Vespa. A Yellow one. With a "P!" Decal.

landscapes, take one

Here is the fruit of my Plein air class from Spring term. I will be touching up all of them, so I'll update this post with the better images in the next few... weeks, days, whatever. Ew, these scans are awful, man.
The last painting I did. Scene from out a window of the HFAC. This was the shortest one, three hours tops, and it was a lovely hazy rainy day.
The first painting I did. I hate those white bushed in front.
The aspen grove was cooler in real life, I'll go in with some glazing to fix up those leaves and trunks, but I am really happy with the mountains in the BG.
The board I painted on for this one annoyed the crap out of me, it wouldn't accept the paint right, so I had a touch time with that. Shame, it was such a great scene.
My favourite one, it'll be hanging in the HFAC in Fall. I'm excited about that. But those clouds... I need to fix those.

Old stuff... in one swell foop

Here's some hekka old stuff.
Emphasis on the 'OLD' part.
I'm just going to post it all now and be done with it.
All are thumbnails.

African animals. And then some.

Some more zoo sketches. I'm falling behind. :(
Zebras that didn't move, a sparrow and Maddie. ^^=
Magpies, roosters...
Giraffes. Yes the leg was at that angle. That parrot was really nice. Whistled at me.
