For my Illustration class this semester we are doing more self-directed studies.
SO! I'm doing some non-sequitur comic book pages. No, not Non Sequitur the syndicated and terribly self-aware comic strip, but comic pages that are out of sequence.
Yes.
This project's theme is ANGELS. :O

AT LONG LAST the Agni Kai

AT LONG LAST. The geek-wadery to end all geek-wadery... The Agni Kai you have all been waiting for... between my Fire-lion-rabbit-snake (anthropomorphized) and Rachel's FIRE TIGER SNAKE OF JUSTICE! :D

It all started on a Sunday. Our ward has prayer together on Sunday night and then we can write notes to each other, notes which will then be delivered to the appropriate apartments. So one note lead to another, and well... here's the result.
This took the better part of a semester to finish. Ahahaha, this is probably the most terrible piece of Avatar fan-work EVAR. :D

I love how much my character's design jumps around during this whole thing. Non-sequitur clothing! Oops, it's gone again! Hahahaha.

Character Design Final

For my character design final, the story of 'Custodial Hero.'

THE PLOT:
In a big city, Hero and Maria are custodians at the local community college. Life was simple, Catrin and Maria worked the crack-of-dawn shift, and the only problem Catrin had was how to approach the man of her dreams, a grounds crew worker she has been crushing on for two months. But as fate would have it, one dark morning a chemical cabinet fell on our two protagonists! In what would first appear as an accident most unfortunate, it was really a blessing in disguise! When the two unwitting heroes returned to work a few weeks later, they found they could clean like never before! But all is not well... as if drawn like a magnet to its polar opposite, Dirt Devils began haunting the city, possessing its unsuspecting inhabitants, drawn to the increased skills of clean of our two heroes! Now it is up to Maria and Catrin to clean up their city and rid it of the forces of filth with their new-found skills even Mr. Clean would envy!
