Christmas/Holiday Card Sketches

Also Ceres and her fat parakeet.
These are all preparation sketches for Christmas/Holiday cards, so if there's anything you'd like to see on a card, let me know!

Penguins are ridiculous, they're still fluffy and chubby despite being also sleek, muscular and streamlined? And they're triangles. Chicks, which start their life exclusively walking, are triangles with the weight on the bottom △, and adults, which swim almost exclusively, are triangles with all the weight on the top ▽.
IT'S HILARIOUS.

Also to answer your question Jacob:
"Is it a play on the word "cervid," or did it just happen that way?"
It kinda happened that way? I'm aware of "cervid" and the term "cervine" and that may have had a subconscious effect on the choice, but I just really like the name Ceres.

What do y'alls think of the name Ceres for her? Maybe Seras. I can't decide which spelling I like better.

I was at a petting zoo a little while ago, and they had GOATS with the cutest little petite hooves. So I thought it’d be cute to design a little centauress with those petite goat hooves. I prefer the shape of a deer’s body, though, so now she’s a goat-deer-taur?

Pfff, mythical creature, I do what I want.

Also she has a fluffy budgie buddy. Kinda like a kakapo. I don’t know if he’s flightless or not though, but definitely just as fluffly.

Huur derp, still working her character out, maybe I’ll do some color and markings experiments later.
