Happy Birthday Jake Wyatt and Will Strong!
Late for Will, early for Jake.
Process:
Gouache + tea + acrylic ink :)
I had so much fun doing these you guys! Thanks for being born!
A birthday card for my friend Jake and Will. And it's Cami's birthday today! :O I need to do something for her!!
It's my character Mai, with his character Murphy (as seen in "The Great White Lie" here and here.) These are technically fan arts. Both for unpublished works. I'm pioneering a genre here.
Mai cheating on Arthur with Murph!? OH NOES! :O
I love film noir. :)
(Check out the other comics of Funkless White Girl Press here.)

The photos I took...
Merry Christmas! What? I'm a month and a week late?
:/
That's awkward.
Just some photos I took over the Christmas break.
And then I started goofing off with Christmas lights and grapefruit... Cue the Theremin!
My sister is a PATRIOT. If the commies ever invade I want her on MY SIDE.
Take a bow, Lauren. You waved your flag well.
And this is my brother. Yes. He is a fish. And he HATES ME.
>:C
The flight home was interesting with my lay-over in Las Vegas...
The poor fiend is addicted to gambling, I had to physically remove him from the slot machines.
Do 'yall remember a few months ago, the moon was SUPER bright? Yeah. It was cool. I took photos.
:3

See how he GLOWS with HATE?

Mai and Arthur
DUDE. Why haven't I uploaded this before? D:
Here be Mai and Arthur. (in Raven form :O)
Best. Landscape. Assignment. Ever. It counts as a landscape because there's a TREE. :D Not even a tree, a shadow of a tree. :3 I'm so clever. (NOT)

Problem Child Painting and other such things...
Some more stuff related to the comic page seen in the last few posts.
Here is a Birthday card for my mom:
(It's going to be late!)
And one with just the Guinea pig on it:
(He won't talk in the comic though... I don't think)
And some character designs I'll be painting up today. :)
Finished! (So many things went wrong in the painting of this picture, but in the end I think I'm happy with it. And I learned a LOT.)
From Left to Right:
Mai T. Daemon, Elizabeth, Arthur
And a thank you card for my friend Maddie, who bought me a Lightning McQueen toy for Christmas. :3 I love him.

Elizabeth and the Angels part II
BEHOLD.
It's OVER!
The taped up, masked off stage, here toned with gauche:
And the final product, sans boxes around the images:
This has received a lot of positive and helpful feedback, thank you all! I had fun doing this and look forward to doing more! :3

Elizabeth and the Angels
For my Illustration class this semester we are doing more self-directed studies.
SO! I'm doing some non-sequitur comic book pages. No, not Non Sequitur the syndicated and terribly self-aware comic strip, but comic pages that are out of sequence.
Yes.
This project's theme is ANGELS. :O
Take a look:

AT LONG LAST the Agni Kai
AT LONG LAST. The geek-wadery to end all geek-wadery... The Agni Kai you have all been waiting for... between my Fire-lion-rabbit-snake (anthropomorphized) and Rachel's FIRE TIGER SNAKE OF JUSTICE! :D
This is the toss-down of the century folks!
I highly recommend you play this music as you read:
Agni Kai - Avatar the Last Airbender
(Split up into four parts for your convenience.)
It all started on a Sunday. Our ward has prayer together on Sunday night and then we can write notes to each other, notes which will then be delivered to the appropriate apartments. So one note lead to another, and well... here's the result.
This took the better part of a semester to finish. Ahahaha, this is probably the most terrible piece of Avatar fan-work EVAR. :D
I love how much my character's design jumps around during this whole thing. Non-sequitur clothing! Oops, it's gone again! Hahahaha.
Here are some of the websites (and some new ones too) used in designing our characters:
